As is the norm for this time of year, the weekend of Oct. 24-28 was filled with big hockey tournaments and showcases all over North America. In the United States it was a particularly busy weekend in New England and the Midwest.
Hundreds of teams flocked to ice rinks in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for two of the largest fall Tier 1 U.S. Boys events, and one of the top Tier 1 Boys leagues in the United States also held its opening 18U showcase weekend in Illinois.
