Embed MYHockey Rankings in Your Website
MYHockey is excited to announce that you can now embed MYHockey Ranking's in your own team website. There are two versions of the MYHockey Embed Widget, one that lists the top 10 teams in the ranking and highlights your favorite team, regardless of its current ranking, and a second that only lists the top 10 teams in the ranking.
Why would you use this? The most common reason is to list the rankings on your team or organization website. This technology being used will update your rankings every time MYHockey updates them, week after week with no additional updates on your behalf. These rankings also have a quick link to the corresponding MYHockey Rankings page. Fast, easy and convenient!
Where do I find the code? MYHockey now lists the details on the bottom of every rankings page in MYHockey. Scroll to the bottom and you'll find text box with the HTML that you will need to copy into your website. The code found at the bottom of the rankings page will not, however, highlight your favorite team. It will simply list the top 10 teams in that ranking. To find the HTML that will give the top 10 and highlight your favorite team, go to your team's "Team Information" page by clicking the
to the right of your team in the rankings. On this page, to the right of the "RANKING(S)" listing, you should see the ranking(s) that your team is listed in. Click on the word "Embed" to have the HTML appear in a pop-up window for you to copy.
Please note that the size of your rankings window can be adjusted. The default size is 350 pixels wide by 420 pixels high. If one or more team name is exceptionally large, it could cause the window to scroll. You can adjust these as necessary to fit your website appropriately. Click here to see three examples.
