2009-10 Season Info to be Released August 1st
MYHockey will release 2009-10 information on August 1, 2009. The default system view today is the 2008-09 season. Expected teams, league and information will switch over to a 2009-10 view at this time. 2008-09 season information will still be available under the "Rankings" tab.
MYHockey does not update 2008-09 data once the season is complete. Websites, coaches, managers, team names all are frozen for historical purposes. Many of these things will change, but MYHockey has chosen to archive each season as is and build new data and a new season completely from scratch. This is definitely more work, but allow you to review previous season(s) information. MYHockey now has three years of historic data, starting with the 2006-07 season.
MYHockey has started to collect changes for the upcoming season, but please send us any changes. In early August we will release a living list of these changes. We are looking for new associations, new leagues and any changes in association affiliations with leagues.
Other exciting changes are also planned for the 2009-10 season. MYHockey will release a Premium Membership with over a dozen system enhancements. The reporting of scores will also be enhanced. It should be an exciting fall!
