MHR Peak Performers for December 2024

We are proud to announce our MYHockey Rankings Peak Performers for the month of December. For the first time ever, we have three Peak Performer honorees!

Our first Peak Performer is Nolan Lenhart of Westchester Express Black 2013 AAA. Through late December, Nolan was averaging 1.25 points per game thanks to his 22 goals and 28 assists, good for 50 points, through 40 games. Nolan has developed a penchant for scoring clutch game-tying or go-ahead goals late in games.

Peak Performer No. 2 is Ronin Johnson from North London Nationals U13 BB Tier 1. An affiliated player for the U13 AA/A London Jr Mustangs, Ronin received Player of the Game honors Dec. 14 after scoring 3 goals and adding an assist in a 6-0 victory against the Strathroy Jr. Rockets in the Silver Stick Regional Qualifier in Chatham, Ontario. Ronin recorded his 100th point of the season that day, and he helped his team qualify for the International Silver Stick Finals in Forest, Ontario Jan. 24-26.

Our third and final Peak Performer for December is Daniil Manakhov of Florida Fury 12U AA. Through 28 games, Daniil leads his team in scoring with 37 goals, 7 assists and 44 points. That total included a 13-goal performance in four games at the Florida Battle of the Beach Tournament in December.

Nominate Your Team’s Peak Performers

To have a player on your team considered to be a Peak Performer, please follow the guidelines outlined below when submitting candidates:

  • Include the player’s name, the team’s name, the age group and any pertinent statistical or other information that would support the nomination.
  • Attach 45-50 seconds of highlights from the player’s performance or performances. This can be several plays included on one attached video file or a few different plays on several different attached video files.
  • Keeping the natural rink sound on the video is fine, but please DO NOT include music or other special effects such as slow motion, inserted graphics, logos, etc. If you are pulling the clip from a service such as LiveBarn and their logo is on the video somewhere, that is acceptable.
  • Please DO NOT send a link to social media posts or other videos that are posted online unless the link is to an actual downloadable file.
  • We would prefer to receive nominations from coaches or managers and not parents. If a parent submits a nominee, we may request to see a team statistics sheet, scoresheets or similar evidence to support and verify the nomination.

Please understand that because of the volume of emails we receive, it is not possible for us to reply to the submission emails. There also is no way that we can spend time searching for the information or video we have requested if it is not included in the email.

The only way to ensure consideration is to follow the procedure outlined above.

Also, there is no need to continue submitting nominations for the same player throughout the season once he or she is honored. A player will not be selected as a Peak Performer more than once.

We look forward to receiving your nominations and honoring more players than ever this season!
