MNHockey Seeking Volunteers

MNHockey is still seeking volunteers to enter and approve scores for teams around the state. Volunteers take responsibility for a District and attempt to maintain accurately each team within the District. It typically takes a volunteer 15 to 30 minutes a week, depending on the size of the District and the quality of the district and team websites. While MYHockey/MNHockey sets up the entire site, it is key to have local volunteers entering and maintaining the accuracy of the game scores.

As of Nov 15th, the following volunteers were still needed: Boys Bantam A: D5, D15, D16 Boys Peewee A: D3, D5, D11, D12, D15, D16 Girls 14U A: D5, D8, D10, D15, D16 Girls 12U A: D2, D5, D8, D11, D15, D16

It does seem like a lot more clubs are fielding "A" level teams this year and I'm sure there is still work to be done getting the right list of teams. In girls hockey, there probably even more updates needed.

Hesitant about getting involved? You are encouraged to review previous years rankings and information to see the value in maintaining this data indefinitely in MNHockey. What I wouldn't give to see the historic records of my D2 and D15 travel teams from 30+ years ago...

To volunteer, go to the Report Scores page and learn more.

Enjoy the season!
