Send Us Your Peak Performers for November!

Once again, MYHockey Rankings is honoring youth and amateur hockey Peak Performers from around North America throughout the 2025-26 season.

Our first Peak Performers were chosen for their efforts from the start of the season through October, and MYHockey Rankings will continue selecting a Peak Performer each month until at least March. We can continue beyond March as long as we keep receiving deserving nominees.

We can’t do any of this without your support, however, and we now are accepting Peak Performer nominees for the month of November.

Although we rank nearly 20,000 amateur North American hockey teams on an annual basis, we rely on our members, volunteers, coaches, team managers, league contacts and other interested parties to enter the data necessary to keep our rankings up to date. Likewise, although we do get to see a lot of great games, players and performances every season, there is no way for our small staff to compile the video or statistics necessary to honor a Peak Performer on a regular basis without the assistance of the hockey community.

So, once again we are asking and inviting you to help us highlight top performances that occur during the 2025-26 season by submitting nominees to be considered as one of our monthly MHR Peak Performers. A Peak Performer can be someone who had an outstanding game, weekend or tournament performance as well as a player who is having a tremendous season statistically.

To have your nominee considered to be a Peak Performer, please follow the guidelines outlined below when submitting candidates:

Nominate Your Team’s Peak Performer

To have a player on your team considered to be named an MHR Peak Performer, please follow the guidelines outlined below when submitting candidates:

  • Include the player’s name, the team’s name, the age group and any pertinent statistical or other information that would support the nomination.
  • Attach 30-45 seconds of highlights from the player’s performance or performances. This can be several plays included on one attached video file or a few different plays on several different attached video files. Please don’t send more than three separate files.
  • Keeping the natural rink sound on the video is fine, but please DO NOT include music or other special effects such as slow motion, inserted graphics, logos, etc. If you are pulling the clip from a service such as LiveBarn and their logo is on the video somewhere, that is acceptable as long as the owner of the video is okay with us using it.
  • Please DO NOT send a link to social media posts or other videos that are posted online unless the link is to an actual downloadable file.
  • We would prefer to receive nominations from coaches or managers and not parents. If a parent submits a nominee, we may request to see a team statistics sheet, scoresheets or similar evidence to support and verify the nomination.
  • Also, please DO NOT send us a folder full of clips or a bunch of clips and ask us to go through them and use what we want. We receive far too many emails and nominations to spend time doing this, so send us only the clips you would like us to use. If we have to search for clips ourselves, unfortunately the nomination won’t be considered.

Please understand that because of the volume of emails we receive, it is not possible for us to reply to the submission emails. There also is no way that we can spend time searching for player information, statistics or clips not included as part of the email. Video files should be attached or links to downloadable files provided. We will not be able to pull clips from Instagram or other similar platforms unless they are downloadable.

The only way to ensure consideration is to follow the guidelines outlined above.

Also, players who have not been named Peak Performers this year or in the past will receive priority when selecting this year’s honorees. Once a player has been named a Peak Performer during a given season, there is no need to continue submitting that player for consideration.

We look forward to receiving your nominations and honoring more players than ever this season!
