MYHockey Rankings is Hiring an Operations Manager!

MYHockey Rankings (MHR) is looking for motivated, driven and creative individuals that enjoy working as part of a team in a high-energy environment to lead our platform's day to day operations. The Operations Manager will work closely with current management team to execute daily website processes and identify new opportunities to improve MHR's user experience.   • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
  • Start date of June 1, 2022 (negotiable)

Qualifications

  • Hockey Knowledge – Basic understanding of the youth hockey landscape in North America. Advance knowledge of the youth hockey landscape in North America and/or previous playing/coaching experience at AAA, Prep, Junior and/or College level is a plus
  • Effective Communication - Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions
  • Problem Management – Knowledge of and ability to bring a reported problem to successful resolution
  • Process Management – Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes
  • Standard Operating Procedures – Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations to increase operational efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Lead website's day to day operations
  • Collaborate with current management team to execute operating plan
  • Manage database of 22,500+ teams, 2,650+ associations, 250+ ranking categories, 4,000+ rinks and 300,000+ annual game scores
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, volunteers, leagues, clubs, teams and coaches
  • Identify new processes and functions to improve admin efficiency
  • Identify new opportunities to improve MHR's user experience
  • Manage team listings and division/league alignments
  • Manage weekly rankings update process
  • Manage weekly game score collection process
  • Manage correction requests
  • Coordinate with social media team to drive user interaction
  • Complete administrative tasks
  • Handle general email inquiries
