MYHockey Week #4 Rankings are now available. This past week volunteers and members added over 10,200 game scores to MYHockey resulting in 8,764 ranked teams, an increase of 1509 over last week. Now to the interesting rankings material you all care about! 

The highly anticipated 2019-20 MHR Association Rankings are now available as well. MHR Association Rankings will be updated weekly on Wednesday mornings throughout the season. USA Youth, USA Midget, USA Girls, Ontario Midget and Ontario Girls association rankings can be viewed by members here.

With a large amount of new teams qualifying for the rankings, comes the release of numerous (mainly Canadian and Junior) ranking categories. Below is a list of newly released rankings:

• All Canada Midget AAA, Minor Midget AAA, Bantam AAA and Peewee AAA
• Western Canada, Midget, Minor Midget, Bantam, and Peewee
• Ontario B+ and A/MD No-Check 
• Ontario Girls 17U B and 14U B
• Quebec Bantam AAA
• USA Junior Tier I, Tier II, Tier III
• Canada Major Junior and Jr A

An algorithm, and in return our rankings, are only as good as the data entered into the system. That is especially true this early in the season. A game score incorrectly assigned to the programs "AAA" team instead of the "AA" team or "18U" team instead "16U" team can have a negative impact on the rankings. As always, remember to keep an eye out for inaccurate or errouneous game scores.
