MYHockey is proud to release Week #2 of our 2016-17 season rankings.  Week #2 of the rankings brings with it another level of data maturity in the rankings as the number of reported game scores in the database grew by over 40% to 26k. This is a 7% increase of last year at this time. The number of teams that now qualify for the USA Tier 2 rankings has nearly doubled in many cases. We now have over 750 volunteer contributing scores but they cover less than half of the 1900 league/divisions in MYHockey so we still need your help!

A quick update on the organization of teams and leagues in MYHockey. We aim to have all leagues, divisions and teams updated to reflect the real organization of youth hockey teams across North America.  We have updated every team and division of almost 50 leagues, and volunteers have updated hundreds of league divisions, but dozens of leagues, hundreds of divisions and possibly a thousands teams remain inaccurate due to changes from one year to the next and our inability to make every change as quickly as it is known. But please, keep the change requests coming.

And a special thanks to those who have purchased a premium membership for the 2016-17 season.  We have just released a couple enhancements and have more planned.  We have added maps to the league and association information pages and now have a Recent Scores tab on any rankings category which displays all scores entered since the last weekly update.  We encourage you to take some time to explore these new features.
