Ranking Updates
2014-15 Week #9 Rankings Released
Week #9 rankings have been released this morning. A few quick stats. MYHockey currently has 17,244 teams. Of those, 7174 teams have ten or more games played this season. That's because volunteers and members have entered/approved 87,376 game scores so far this season.
A quick note on the one issue that arises almost every week. The Ontario B/C/D/AE/MD rankings are essentially an "other" category for Ontario travel teams. We added it a couple years ago because there was interest and because the existence of these rankings can help tournaments make better decisions about how to place these teams in competitive tournament divisions. In some ways looking at these teams as one group of teams like you might look at an Ontario AAA ranking does not really make sense. This really is a catch-all category that allows everyone who plays for or against these teams to understand their relative strength by including them in the system.
