2012-13 Week #8 Rankings Released
Week #8 rankings bring a few changes. Before I get into that, I'd like to extend my sympathies to those living near the Jersey shore and on Long Island that are still struggling with the impacts of Sandy. I wish you and your neighbors the best of luck getting things fixed up. It's too bad we couldn't have just skipped the election and used that $6B directly for relief efforts.
This week sees us release rankings for the USA Girls Midget 19U and 16U Tier 2. The number of teams is still small and there are still quite a few divisions looking for volunteers, so I encourage you to consider volunteering if you are interested in these teams and divisions. Also making a debut this week are the NCAA Mens D1 rankings with the only undefeated team, Dartmouth, on top of our ranking. ACHA Womens D1 are also released this week with Rhode Island sitting atop the rankings. I'd like to get the Mens NCAA D3 rankings out next week and both NCAA Womens D1 and D3 if possible. Still looking for volunteers as well if you're willing to help.
This week's schedule is likely to be a little light in anticipation for a heavy USA Thanksgiving weekend tournament blitz that will start as early as a week from today (Nov 21st).
