Play of the Year Contest Field Announced

We are proud and excited to present the field for our first-ever MYHockey Rankings Play of the Year Contest. The bracket, posted above, includes clips of plays that were MHR Play of the Week winners or Play of the Week finalists as well as wild-card entries.

The contest will begin on Monday, June 12, as the field of 32 begins to get narrowed down. Voting will take place most weekdays during the summer, with the contest scheduled to run from June 12 through Aug. 4. Our Save of the Year and Play of the Year contests will run concurrently, with voting being held for one matchup on the same day for each bracket.

 

Here is the Play of the Year voting schedule:

First Round Voting

June 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30

July 3

 

Round of 16 Voting

July 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20

 

Final 8 Voting

July 24, 25, 26, 27

 

Semifinal Voting

July 31, Aug. 1

 

Championship Voting

Aug. 4

 

The contest will be promoted daily on the MHR TwitterFacebook and Instagram accounts, but all voting will take place on Instagram. If a player from your club is involved, feel free to spread the word.

A lot of time goes into creating this contest and many sources of information are used, so if you notice that a player’s name or a team is spelled wrong or misrepresented in any way, please contact us by emailing scott@MYHockeyRankings.com. We are only human. Mistakes happen, and we are happy to correct them.
