MYHockey Continues to Expand

As the 2007-08 hockey season grows on us, MYHockey has grown in its own way. Since last season, MYHockey has expanded to cover Midgets, Minnesota (Peewee & Bantam) and Ontario AA hockey at three age levels. While MYHockey was hoping to expand to include one of these new areas in 2007-08, we have tackled all three. A special thanks to the volunteers that have made this possible. Additional expansion areas are not only possible, but some have already been started. Interest will drive further expansion going forward.

Ontario 94, 95, and 97 AA levels are now operational. Ontario 96 AA birth year teams are in the system if anyone is interested in getting these going. The Ontario 96 AA divisions can be found in the MYHockey Division Availability List, just register and we can get you started.

Bigger than any single element of MYHockey's expansion, the system is now easily expanded to include new areas without introducing the problems expansion has brought in the past. Out of personal curiousity and the interest of a few teams that have gone to western Canad, a Western Canada Bantam AAA ranking activity has been started. I see it running from Thunder Bay to Victoria and something that can ultimately be melded into the regular 93 AAA rankings once enough overlap games are entered. Again, if interested, you will find the Western AAA bantam leagues in MYHockey at the bantam level including:

I have a few additional teams such as the Notre Dame Hounds (Regina, Sask) and the Prince George Cougars (Prince George BC). To the best of my knowledge they do not play Bantam AAA in Saskatchewan so not sure how that will proceed. If you are interested in helping, don't hesitate to register to volunteer or send me an email.
